The 5th Annual 2015 Asian Business Expo
Event on September 10, 2015 aims to promote business, economic growth, social and professional interaction among various emerging Asian and American markets in the U.S.
In a strong show of unity and mutual cooperation, several Asian chambers of commerce, city chambers and several Asian business and community organizations join to host the fifth annual Asian Business Expo on September 10, 2015. Jointly hosted by the Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai, Indonesian, Cambodian Chambers of Commerce, as well as Garden Grove and Irvine Chamber of Commerce, the expo is supported by other Asian organizations including Pacific Trade and Culture Alliance, SABAN, AABWA, HKASC, AWE, NAAAP, ABAOC and TCCC. Buoyed by the success of last year¡¯s Expo, this year¡¯s Expo will highlight and celebrate the truly diverse and dynamic business communities in Orange County.
By targeting more than 110,000 Vietnamese Americans, 95,000 Filipino Americans, and 130,000 Korean Americans and Chinese Americans in Orange County, CA, the Expo is expected to generate goodwill throughout the community. It is also aimed at increasing purchasing power of Asian Americans, import/export opportunities, educating Asian-owned businesses the ability to obtain government supplier contracts, and working with large private organizations.
The Expo has attracted over 1,000 guests each year and with more organizations participating this year, the number of attendees is expected to surpass 2,000 this year. The event will provide networking opportunities and allow attendees to forge new business ties. Business owners of the targeted ethnic groups will have a forum to work together, while attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about one another¡¯s cultures and businesses.
Ernest Lee, the Chairperson of the Expo, said, ¡°This is the fifth year we are hosting this important event. As one of the fastest growing demographic groups in Orange County, we hope the Asian Business Expo will reflect the diversity, dynamism and vitality of these 17 participating groups.¡±
This year¡¯s event promises to be educational as well as entertaining, showcasing cultural presentations, business demonstrations, and special guest speakers. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available to companies wishing to promote their products and services to the Asian American business communities.
